About The Position

The Director of People Operations serves as a strategic and operational leader for the People Operations (PO) function at Legacy Behavioral Health. This role oversees policy development, employee relations, performance management, training support, compliance, compensation, and all major PO systems. The Director of People Operations partners closely with executive leadership to align PO strategies with organizational goals and ensure compliance with employment laws and industry best practices. This position plays a critical role in shaping organizational culture, guiding workforce planning, and developing the PO team to achieve operational excellence. The Director will be supervised by the CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resource/People Operations experience
  • Valid Drivers’ License with less than 5 points
  • Strong background in employment law, employee relations, compensation, training, and compliance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with POIS and compensation platforms
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational development experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience with compensation platforms (Dayforce and Payscale preferred)
