About The Position

At DaVita, being the Partner of Choice requires more than strong relationships—it requires intentional strategy, system-level thinking, and the ability to translate complexity into scalable solutions. As nephrology undergoes a period of significant transformation, this role will serve as a strategic leader responsible for defining and advancing how DaVita engages providers at an enterprise level. You will identify emerging needs, synthesize internal and external insights, and architect integrated solutions that align clinical, operational, and technological capabilities into a cohesive care delivery model. This is a high-impact role for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings a consulting-oriented mindset, and is energized by turning strategy into operational reality at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, healthcare transformation, or a similarly strategic role
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution within large or matrixed organizations
  • Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop actionable solutions, and drive enterprise-level impact
  • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams around shared strategic priorities
  • Experience designing scalable operating models, playbooks, or enterprise capabilities preferred
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred, particularly in payer, provider, or value-based care environments
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presence skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the enterprise strategy for provider engagement, grounded in market insights, organizational priorities, and long-term value creation.

  • Lead strategic initiative design from concept through execution, ensuring alignment between enterprise vision and field-level realities.
  • Architect scalable solutions, playbooks, and operating models that enable consistent execution across a national footprint while allowing for market-level nuance.

  • Drive clarity in “how the work gets done,” ensuring strategies are translated into clear processes, roles, and decision frameworks.
  • Serve as a central connector across executive stakeholders, aligning disparate priorities into a unified strategic direction.
  • Influence decision-making through structured thinking, data-driven insights, and clear communication, particularly in environments with competing perspectives.
  • Partner deeply with field and operational leaders to ensure strategies are practical, adoptable, and drive measurable impact.
  • Establish clear success metrics and feedback loops to monitor initiative performance and inform iterative improvement.
  • Use data and insights to reallocate resources, refine strategies, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Ensure that initiatives move beyond concept to durable, adopted capabilities embedded in the organization.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for strategy development, initiative execution, and performance management.
  • Elevate team capabilities in structured problem solving, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
