About The Position

Mediassociates is an award-winning independent media planning, buying, and analytics agency in the greater NYC area. We guide brands using our Precision Branding approach - focused on predicting, measuring, and optimizing business outcomes. Named Adweek Fastest Growing Agency and AdAge Best Place to Work. We're hiring a Director, Paid Search to lead strategy and execution across key agency clients. Reporting to the Executive Director, Search, you'll partner with a peer Director to advance best practices, drive client performance, and grow a high-performing search team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years hands-on paid search experience, including YouTube, Demand Gen, PMax, and Shopping
  • 3+ years agency experience at a managerial level with direct client ownership
  • Expertise across Google, Microsoft, and Amazon paid search; proficiency in SA360 and Skai
  • Experience with advanced testing methodologies and attribution/incrementality measurement
  • Strong grasp of paid/organic search interplay, GA4, Adobe Analytics, and GTM
  • Exceptional client-facing communication and ability to manage multiple workstreams

Responsibilities

  • Lead SEM strategy across Paid Search, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Shopping for core clients
  • Apply A/B, incrementality, and geo-based testing to improve performance
  • Evaluate and govern AI-powered campaign features (Smart Bidding, Performance Max, AI Max)
  • Serve as senior client contact - present insights, strategy, and AI adoption roadmaps
  • Collaborate across analytics, SEO, ad ops, and account planning for integrated execution
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to new business pitches
