The Director of Women's Services is responsible for financial management and all departmental functions, including formulating and executing departmental/divisional budgets, conducting periodic budgetary reviews, evaluating cost management strategies, and developing strategic departmental/divisional plans. This role is also responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of clinical services provided by the department/division, including formulating the staffing model. The Director will cultivate staff development through leadership and mentoring, participate in performance improvement activities to ensure effective resource utilization and quality of care, and accept responsibility for regulatory compliance with federal, state, and JCAHO standards. Additionally, the role involves facilitating productive working relationships with system management, physicians, staff, and the community, ensuring patient/family satisfaction is a top priority, and acting as a representative of St. Mary’s in the community and health care settings.
