Director of Used & Rental Fleet

WMHCharlotte, NC
Onsite

About The Position

At WMH Solutions, we’re not just managing equipment — we’re building scalable operational infrastructure that powers warehouses, distribution networks, manufacturing facilities, and supply chains across the Southeast. For more than 35 years, WMH has grown into one of the region’s leading material handling organizations, with 11 branch locations and more than 250 associates across NC, SC, TN, VA, GA, and AL. As our organization continues to scale aggressively, we’re seeking a high-impact leader to oversee and strategically grow our Used & Rental Fleet Operations division. This is not a maintenance-focused fleet role. This is a business leadership opportunity centered around fleet strategy, rental operations, used equipment lifecycle management, asset utilization, operational efficiency, inventory optimization, branch coordination, profitability, refurbishment strategy, and dealership growth. If you thrive in high-accountability operational leadership environments and understand how to balance utilization, customer demand, inventory strategy, and profitability — this is the type of opportunity that can define a career. As Director of Used & Rental Fleet, you’ll oversee the strategy, operational performance, lifecycle management, and profitability of WMH’s used and rental equipment fleet across multiple branch locations throughout the Southeast. You’ll partner closely with branch leadership, service operations, sales leadership, rental coordination teams, technicians, wholesalers, national accounts, and equipment vendors to ensure fleet readiness, utilization, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability. This role directly impacts revenue growth, fleet productivity, asset recovery, customer retention, branch performance, and operational scalability.
