The Director of TRIO Student Support Services oversees a Student Support Services program serving 310 participants across two grants (Classic & STEM) in coordination with the U.S. Department of Education grant application guidelines and BBCC policies; implements, coordinates and manages program. The purpose of TRIO Student Support Services is to retain and graduate low-income, first-generation, and/or disabled students. The position reports to the Dean of Student Services and works directly with the BBCC Director of Advising & Retention to advance the college’s academic advising mission. The position also collaborates closely with departments across Big Bend Community College to support student success and ensure effective coordination of services. This is a full-time, exempt, benefit-eligible position. Funding for the position is dependent upon federal grant monies and other appropriate funding.
