About The Position

The Director of Therapy oversees rehabilitation services, including physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech-language pathology (SLP), while building meaningful relationships. The role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, provides leadership in staff development, and ensures therapy services are delivered efficiently and effectively. The position requires a current, valid Indiana Physical Therapist license and a commitment to geriatric advocacy and senior care excellence.

Requirements

• Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Indiana.
• Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Clinical knowledge of therapeutic principles, psychosocial assessments and interventions, case management, discharge planning, and crisis intervention.
• Empathetic engagement with residents and families and clear, effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills.
• Ability to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Ability to work collaboratively toward a common goal of excellent resident care.
