About The Position

This role is fully remote. ARE YOU READY TO TRANSFORM HOW GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAINS OPERATE? This is not a traditional CIO or enterprise IT leadership role. We are specifically looking for a hands-on builder who has designed and improved systems inside a logistics or freight forwarding environment. Our client is a technology-driven freight forwarder that leverages modern systems and data to improve visibility, automation, and decision-making across global logistics operations. Global logistics is one of the largest and most complex industries in the world. It moves trillions of dollars in goods every year, yet much of it still relies on manual workflows, fragmented systems, and limited visibility. That is changing. Our client is investing heavily in building and evolving the internal technology ecosystem that powers its operations and client experience. The goal is not to build a SaaS product, but to create a highly efficient, technology-enabled logistics operation that delivers better outcomes for customers. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team as a true partner in shaping the company’s technology direction. Requirements

  • 7-12+ years of experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, or business systems within operational environments.
  • Strong experience with enterprise SaaS ecosystems, systems architecture, and integrations.
  • Experience working within Salesforce, primarily from an integration and systems perspective (not pure administration or development)
  • Experience Leading Technology Transformation / Digital Transformation in lean environments.
  • Demonstrated success driving change management and user adoption across teams.
  • Experience designing and managing integrations across multiple systems.
  • Experience working within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environments.
  • Exposure to international freight operations, such as ocean, air, and multi-leg shipments.
  • Experience designing, building, or improving systems within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Proven ability to operate in a lean, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to apply automation, AI, and data-driven decision support across operational workflows.
  • Own and evolve system architecture to support operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Design and manage integrations across systems that support logistics operations, finance, and customer workflows.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
  • Drive end-to-end change management for system implementations and enhancements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure strong user adoption across operational teams.
  • Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and capable of supporting business growth.
  • Lead and mentor a small internal technology team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership.
  • Occasionally engage with clients on technical capabilities and system-driven improvements.
