About The Position

AllTerra Central is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Technical Solutions to build and lead a unified technical organization supporting our customers and internal teams. This leadership role is responsible for shaping the vision, structure, and execution across technical functions—including R&D, training, customer support, technical sales enablement, and content creation. This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in building scalable programs, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams
• 8+ years of experience in geospatial, construction technology, or related industry
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and scale technical programs
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to manage complex workflows and multiple priorities
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
• High attention to detail and process improvement mindset

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CRM systems, training platforms, and knowledge base tools
• Background in education, training, or instructional design
• Professional Surveying license or related certification

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall Technical Solutions strategy and organizational structure
• Build and manage a high-performing, cross-functional technical team
• Oversee resource planning, performance management, and team development
• Design and implement a comprehensive training program for customers and internal teams
• Lead the full lifecycle of new products from R&D through training and customer adoption
• Develop and standardize processes for technical content creation and delivery
• Establish and launch a paid annual support program
• Ensure a seamless, scalable customer experience across all technical touchpoints
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support product launches and customer engagement
• Standardize workflows and processes across all technical functions
• Partner cross-functionally to align messaging, training, and technical resources
• Coordinate technical updates, releases, and communications with manufacturers
