About The Position

The Director of Talent Acquisition plays a fundamental role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent while serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leaders across the Elmington's business portfolio and for Corporate.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of talent acquisition experience in leadership, high-volume, and multi-site environments.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing 40+ requisitions concurrently.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to influence hiring outcomes.
  • Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and applicant tracking systems (Paycor preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing and executing full-cycle recruiting strategies and tactics for high-volume requisition load (40+ active roles) across varied functions and levels.
  • Building deep business acumen and knowledge to apply to sourcing processes to ensure strong and thorough candidate pools, and to expedite the hiring process.
  • Utilizing expertise in strategic sourcing, talent pipelining, and market research.
  • Leveraging strong relationship management skills with the ability to coach, influence, and collaborate with hiring managers and leadership.
  • Applying high-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Using proficiency in recruiting tools and internet sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS platforms (preferably Paycor), etc.).
  • Demonstrating strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Maintaining ethical conduct with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving operational efficiency.
  • Utilizing recruitment metrics literacy, including the ability to track, analyze, and interpret hiring data, and to build and share appropriate reports with business leaders to influence processes.
  • Applying strong problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges and improve outcomes.
  • Serving as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers by consulting on hiring needs, labor market trends, and recruitment strategies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with leaders to ensure alignment on role requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Managing a requisition portfolio of 40+ openings, prioritizing based on business needs and timelines while also managing high level corporate openings.
  • Developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies using direct outreach, job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
  • Screening and assessing candidates for qualifications, cultural alignment, and long-term potential.
  • Leading the interview process, including scheduling, candidate preparation, debriefs, and hiring recommendations.
  • Maintaining consistent, transparent communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Supporting employment branding initiatives to promote Elmington as an employer of choice.
  • Partnering with onboarding and Support teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Utilizing the applicant tracking system (Paycor) to maintain accurate records, track metrics, support compliance, drive continuous improvement, and provide data/reports to business leaders.
  • Representing Elmington at job fairs, recruiting events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving recruiting processes and the overall talent acquisition function.
  • Leading and developing a recruiter and ensuring performance accountability.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
