About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is directly responsible for identifying, attracting, evaluating, and securing qualified talent for open positions across HomeSmart and its affiliated companies. This role manages the full recruiting lifecycle, from understanding the hiring need and developing a sourcing strategy through interviews, offer acceptance, and onboarding. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who does not rely solely on incoming applications. They actively seek out qualified candidates, build relationships with prospective talent, and create a strong candidate experience that reflects HomeSmart’s culture and values.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field preferred.
Three or more years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing candidates, including passive candidates.
Experience managing multiple open positions and competing priorities simultaneously.
Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism, discretion, urgency, and follow-through.
Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media and other sourcing platforms.
Working knowledge of employment laws and compliant hiring practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience recruiting within real estate, mortgage, title, technology, sales, or professional services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Partner with hiring leaders to understand position requirements, business needs, desired competencies, and hiring timelines.
Own the end-to-end recruitment process from the job requisition to onboarding ensuring efficiency at each stage of the hiring process.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for each open position.
Proactively identify candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, industry associations, social media, and direct outreach.
Create and publish accurate, compelling job postings that effectively communicate the opportunity and company culture.
Review applications, conduct initial screening interviews, and evaluate candidates against established position requirements.
Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders with clear recommendations and relevant screening notes.
Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Conduct and coordinate background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
Prepare and extend employment offers in partnership with HR and the hiring leader.
Maintain an active pipeline of prospective candidates for frequently filled and business-critical positions.
Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates for current and future opportunities.
Ensure candidates receive a professional, responsive, and positive experience throughout the hiring process.
Maintain accurate recruiting records within the applicant tracking system and comply with applicable employment laws and internal policies.
Track and report recruiting metrics, including time to fill, candidate sources, pipeline activity, offer acceptance rates, and position status.
Identify opportunities to strengthen HomeSmart’s employer brand and improve recruiting effectiveness.
Support recruiting events, career fairs, internship programs, employee referral initiatives, and other talent acquisition efforts as needed.
