We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Talent Acquisition to join Syska our Jacksonville, FL office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build rapport with a variety of professionals at all levels and develop alliances to work together towards common goals. This role will require the ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles
  • Experience in engineering, Critical Facilities a big plus
  • Proven track record of delivering highly effective TA functions
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
  • Deep understanding of recruitment technologies and data analytics
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for innovation, and candidate experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce planning needs.
  • Partners with executive leadership to forecast hiring demand and builds proactive talent pipelines.
  • Positions the organization as an employer of choice through strong employer branding initiatives.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of recruiters and TA professionals across regions.
  • Establishes clear performance metrics, accountability frameworks, and career development pathways.
  • Fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversees end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Implements best-in-class sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, and digital channels across both experienced hire and associate programmes.
  • Optimizes recruitment technologies, ATS, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers
  • Collaborates closely with HR business partners, and hiring managers
  • Influences hiring decisions through data-driven insights and market intelligence
  • Strengthen employer value proposition (EVP) and recruitment marketing strategies
  • Ensures a seamless, engaging, and positive candidate journey
  • Leverages social media, events, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility
  • Defines and tracks key recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity metrics, etc.)
  • Uses data and analytics to continuously improve hiring outcomes
  • Provides regular insights and reporting to executive leadership
