About The Position

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join their Jacksonville, FL office. This role is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing US recruitment function, driving strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of talent acquisition across the organization. The ideal candidate will be adept at building rapport, developing alliances, and maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced environment. This position is critical for attracting, hiring, and retaining top-tier talent aligned with business goals, culture, and growth ambitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles
  • Proven track record of delivering highly effective TA functions
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
  • Deep understanding of recruitment technologies and data analytics
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for innovation, and candidate experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce planning needs.
  • Partners with executive leadership to forecast hiring demand and builds proactive talent pipelines.
  • Positions the organization as an employer of choice through strong employer branding initiatives.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of recruiters and TA professionals across regions.
  • Establishes clear performance metrics, accountability frameworks, and career development pathways.
  • Fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversees end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Implements best-in-class sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, and digital channels across both experienced hire and associate programmes.
  • Optimizes recruitment technologies, ATS, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers.
  • Collaborates closely with HR business partners, and hiring managers.
  • Influences hiring decisions through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
  • Strengthen employer value proposition (EVP) and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Ensures a seamless, engaging, and positive candidate journey.
  • Leverages social media, events, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
  • Defines and tracks key recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity metrics, etc.).
  • Uses data and analytics to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Provides regular insights and reporting to executive leadership.
