About The Position

This role owns the entire connected stack of systems that the company relies on for leads, appointments, contracts, jobs, payroll, and reporting. It is a build, not a maintenance job, focused on scaling the company across the Sunbelt with multiple brands. The Director will be responsible for setting the sequence of system improvements and ensuring the technology stack can support future growth. This includes owning the CRM, in-home sales platform, a new project management system, integrations, and AI strategy within the governed systems.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years in business systems, revenue operations, or IT.
  • Real ownership of a CRM at a growing company.
  • Deep Salesforce experience including configuration, objects, permissions, flows, and reporting.
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations between systems, including knowledge of APIs, middleware, error handling, and sync failures.
  • Experience leading at least a small team and hiring for it.
  • Experience implementing a system across multiple locations, including managing resistance to adoption.
  • Ability to explain technical trade-offs to a CEO concisely.
  • A point of view on AI in an operating business, including its limitations.
  • Experience establishing governance, including intake, prioritization, and shared definitions that are followed across functions.
  • Ability to report to the Chief Growth Officer and make and defend architectural calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home services, home improvement, trades, or another multi-site field operation.
  • Experience with i360 / improveit 360, Leap, or a comparable field-sales platform.
  • Experience working within a private-equity-backed business.
  • Experience being the first systems hire at a company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the configuration, permissions, territories, lead sources, product setup, and data layer for the Salesforce-based CRM (i360).
  • Own pricing configuration, system enforcement of pricing, discount thresholds, and approval rules for the in-home sales platform (Leap / SalesPro).
  • Recommend, implement, and integrate solutions for the in-home sales platform when tools are not working.
  • Select, implement, and roll out an enterprise project management system for internal workstreams across markets.
  • Own how the wider stack (Rippling, Sage, Ramp, Google Workspace, growth tooling) connects and ensure data consistency.
  • Own the integrations between systems (lead to appointment to contract to job to invoice) to ensure data consistency.
  • Build and hold definitions for data to ensure reporting integrity across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Ensure the systems stack can survive expansion by making new markets and brands a configuration exercise.
  • Own the market launch stack for new markets and brands.
  • Author and maintain the company's standard for AI usage, including appropriateness, data handling, and output quality.
  • Identify opportunities for AI to remove work.
  • Train teams on the AI standard, keep it current, and monitor adherence.
  • Lead the Salesforce Administrator and Growth Specialist, Integrations, and build out the function as the company scales.
  • Decide what systems to build, buy, or outsource to partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business system needs and manage the intake of requests from various departments.
  • Prioritize system requests through a cross-functional council.
  • Ensure operations receives committed capacity for system work.
  • Ensure Finance signs off on shared data definitions.
