About The Position

The Director of Supply Chain, Network Planning (IBP) leads end-to-end (E2E) supply planning and execution across a defined product portfolio over a 0–36-month horizon. This role is responsible for managing a team of Network Planners (supported by Network Schedulers) who oversee planning across product lines and supply networks. This leader owns planning performance, drives standardized processes, ensures alignment across functions, and serves as a key decision-maker in Integrated Business Planning (IBP/SIOP) activities. The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the electrical or industrial manufacturing sector
  • Experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments
  • Strong background in Integrated Business Planning (IBP / SIOP)
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools (Kinaxis preferred)
  • Expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Demand & Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Supplier Collaboration, Analytics & Business Intelligence, and Control Tower technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Network Planners responsible for end-to-end supply planning by product line
  • Manage team performance, escalations, and accountability to business objectives
  • Ensure appropriate resource alignment across networks in partnership with CoE (Center of Excellence) teams
  • Own the planning and execution strategy across the full product portfolio (0–36 month horizon)
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker for supply, capacity, and material trade-offs across multiple networks
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across supply chain, operations, and commercial teams
  • Lead supply input into SIOP/IBP processes, consolidating network plans and scenarios
  • Communicate risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leadership to drive decision-making
  • Partner closely with Demand Planning teams to ensure alignment across demand and supply plans
  • Ensure consistent deployment and adherence to standardized network planning processes across all business units
  • Act as the process owner for Network Planning, driving continuous improvement and best practice sharing
  • Partner with COEs to ensure effective execution of planning processes and system utilization (Kinaxis)
  • Monitor network performance using Kinaxis and BI tools, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Own key E2E KPIs, including: On-Time Delivery, Inventory (DOH), Plan Stability & Adherence, Capacity Utilization, Financial Forecast Alignment
  • Drive improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain performance
  • Lead deployment of supply planning processes across the external supplier base
  • Ensure collaboration and alignment with suppliers to support network planning objectives
