MedCap Health is seeking a Traveling, full-time Director of Subspecialty services to guide high-impact consultative services across multiple states. This management role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide clinical strategy while remaining connected to frontline excellence. Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (multi-state preferred)
10+ years of PA experience in PALTC, SNF, or LTACH settings
2+ years of experience in leadership, education, or program development
Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or infectious disease
Proven success building and leading NPP teams
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, documentation standards
Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms

Nice To Haves

A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is strongly preferred
Located in the Delaware, Virginia, or Maryland area
5+ years of experience in leadership, education, or program development

Responsibilities

Guide the design, launch, and expansion of consult services
Collaborate daily with physician specialists, executive leaders, NPs, PAs, and facility teams
Define clinical protocols
Oversee quality metrics
Mentor providers
Manage multi-site operations
Monitor dashboards
Lead RCAs when needed
Act as the clinical connector aligning strategy, quality, workforce development, and operational execution
