MedCap Health is seeking a Traveling, full-time Director of Subspecialty services to guide high-impact consultative services across multiple states. This management role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide clinical strategy while remaining connected to frontline excellence. Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (multi-state preferred)
- 10+ years of PA experience in PALTC, SNF, or LTACH settings
- 2+ years of experience in leadership, education, or program development (5+ years preferred)
- Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or infectious disease
- Proven success building and leading NPP teams
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, documentation standards
- Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms
Nice To Haves
- A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is strongly preferred
- Located in the Delaware, Virginia, or Maryland area
Responsibilities
- Guide the design, launch, and expansion of consult services
- Collaborate daily with physician specialists, executive leaders, NPs, PAs, and facility teams
- Define clinical protocols
- Oversee quality metrics
- Mentor providers
- Manage multi-site operations
- Monitor dashboards
- Lead RCAs when needed
- Act as the clinical connector aligning strategy, quality, workforce development, and operational execution
- Advance MedCap's mission across states and specialties
