Director of Strategic Partnerships

Spekit
$200,000 - $240,000

About The Position

Spekit is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to architect and execute our partner ecosystem. This senior individual contributor role involves high-stakes discussions with product and commercial partners, requiring a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will define our 'Right to Play' strategy and manage the entire partnership lifecycle from negotiation to long-term management. Spekit is a recognized Visionary in Gartner’s 2025 Magic Quadrant™ for Revenue Enablement Platforms, reimagining work and learning in an AI-first world.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, or Sales, ideally within the Sales and Marketing technology (SalesTech/MarTech) ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of representing a company in complex negotiations and discussions without a large supporting team.
  • Ability to translate technical product gaps (e.g., API limitations, 'embedded' UI needs) into clear commercial strategies for the executive team.
  • Expert-level ability to build your own pitch decks, financial models for referral/SKU structures, and partner success plans.
  • Experience navigating large enterprise organizations to find the right stakeholders (Enablement, RevOps, and Sales Leadership).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a growth-stage startup (Series B-D).
  • Familiarity with the 'Just-in-Time' learning or Sales Enablement category.
  • Technical curiosity - understanding the implications of 'SSO,' 'API syncing,' and 'Self-hosted embedding models'.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, COO, and executive leadership team on ecosystem strategies, shaping product direction and integration opportunities.
  • Identify and prioritize partnership strategies and categories (e.g., LLMs, CRM, Call Intelligence) to create market advantages, increase distribution, customer adoption, and revenue.
  • Act as the dedicated lead for established partners (e.g., Salesforce, Gong), ensuring alignment, performance tracking, and executive advocacy.
  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle: sourcing potential partners, pitching the Spekit value proposition, negotiating commercial terms (referral, co-sell, or white-label), and managing the legal/contractual process.
  • Collaborate across GTM functions to develop pipeline and growth strategies with and through partners, executing on day-to-day deal operations.
  • Identify sales opportunities and customer expansion through partner engagement, facilitating introductions and positioning partnerships as a strength.
  • Develop the 'better together' story commercially and technically, including demo flows and securing sandboxes.
  • Ensure partner GTM reps and Spekit's GTM reps are comfortable speaking to the joint value proposition, demoing, and handling objections.
  • Establish clear partner feature activation plans, adoption plans, and metrics between CS and product.
  • Create internal and external enablement content with marketing support.
  • Track partner influence, integration adoption, and revenue impact, flagging risks.
  • Integrate with marketing to develop joint-marketing and branding opportunities (webinars, events, conferences, sponsorships).
  • Ensure partners remain informed and enabled on Spekit's latest platform functionality.
