Director of Strategic Community Development
About The Position
Via Mobility Services is seeking a Director of Strategic Community Development to provide leadership in advancing its mission through strategic fundraising, communications, grant development, community engagement, and external relations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to increase organizational awareness, strengthen stakeholder relationships, diversify revenue streams, and position Via as a leader in innovative transportation solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about building relationships and creating partnerships that make a lasting community impact, and possesses strong fundraising, communications, and leadership skills. The position offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Journalism, or a related field is required.
- Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit development, communications, fundraising, grants management, public relations, or strategic planning.
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience managing complex communications initiatives and community partnerships.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience working with nonprofit boards and executive leadership preferred.
