Full-Time Director of Staff Development (DSD) Rock Creek Care Center – 260 Racetrack St, Auburn, CA 95603 Are you a passionate and experienced nursing educator looking for a leadership role in a supportive and collaborative environment? Requirements
- Active California LVN license required
- DSD Certification required
- Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing healthcare professionals
Nice To Haves
- Experience in staff development, training, or education within a skilled nursing facility preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee staff education and training programs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for staff training
- Provide ongoing education in infection control, safety, and best nursing practices
- Support new hires with orientation and onboarding programs
- Monitor and maintain employee training records and certifications
- Work closely with nursing leadership to enhance quality of care and professional development
