Spa Lilliana at Hotel Effie – Marriott Autograph Collection is seeking an exceptional Director of Spa to lead its luxury wellness destination. This role involves strategic leadership, daily operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and overall success of the spa. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive spa leadership experience.
  • Luxury hotel, resort, destination spa, or wellness retreat experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing financial performance, budgets, labor costs, and revenue generation.
  • Experience leading large teams in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Passion for wellness, hospitality, and luxury guest experiences.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of spa operations, treatment offerings, retail sales, and wellness trends.
  • Experience with spa scheduling, POS, and property management systems.
  • Ability to build relationships with guests, team members, vendors, and hotel leadership.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the Spa Lilliana brand and ensure every guest receives an exceptional, personalized wellness experience.
  • Create a culture of hospitality, luxury service, and genuine care that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Continuously elevate spa offerings, treatments, retail experiences, and wellness programming to remain competitive within the luxury resort market.
  • Maintain Forbes-level service standards and ensure flawless execution across all guest touchpoints.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and inspire a team of spa professionals, therapists, estheticians, attendants, and supervisors.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment focused on professional growth and service excellence.
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability measures that drive results and employee satisfaction.
  • Lead ongoing training initiatives focused on guest experience, product knowledge, wellness trends, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, retail sales, and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Monitor labor costs, productivity, inventory, and operating expenses.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and implement strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Identify and execute innovative promotions, packages, memberships, and wellness experiences.
  • Ensure seamless daily operations of treatment rooms, relaxation spaces, locker facilities, and retail areas.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with hotel leadership to create integrated guest experiences and resort-wide wellness initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, product partnerships, inventory control, and purchasing processes.
  • Ensure operational compliance with Marriott Autograph Collection standards and company policies.
  • Personally engage with guests to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally, creating positive resolutions and lasting impressions.
  • Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Create memorable moments that transform first-time visitors into loyal spa advocates.
