About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Director of Slot Operations to lead the strategy, performance, and daily operations of the slot department at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. The role oversees departmental budgets and financial results, monitors slot performance, evaluates new equipment, and coordinates machine installations, repairs, and moves. The Director also develops a high-performing team, delivers exceptional guest service, and resolves guest concerns while ensuring compliance with applicable gaming laws and regulations. Delaware North Gaming operates Gate City Casino, which offers slots and video gaming machines, table games, poker rooms and tournaments, mobile sports betting, and full-service restaurants. Delaware North also owns and operates a nearby Sheraton hotel.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience working in a slots department.
- At least 5 years of management experience within a slots department.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
Responsibilities
- Establish and ensure adherence to the annual departmental budget.
- Monitor and report on slot performance, adjust machines to maximize profitability, and coordinate machine repairs, moves, and installations with maintenance and the state gaming authority.
- Organize and delegate assignments to the Shift Manager.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
- Evaluate new equipment and oversee departmental financial results.
- Build and develop a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest service.
