1XSan Carlos, CA
$220,000 - $275,000Onsite

About The Position

1X is building humanoid robots designed to work in the home, handling chores and tasks to give people their time back. This requires solving complex problems in robotics, AI, and manufacturing at scale, ensuring the robots are safe enough to live with families. The company has been working on this since 2014 and is now scaling up to ship its flagship product, NEO. They are looking for individuals inspired by this mission who want to build something that will genuinely change how humans spend their time, safely creating abundance for all. The Infrastructure team at 1X builds and operates the environments that enable robots and the people creating them to perform at their best. This includes scaling manufacturing and lab spaces, and ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence across all sites. The team creates the physical foundation that powers innovation and production, accelerating execution by delivering world-class workplaces and operational readiness. The Facilities team is responsible for building and operating the physical foundation that enables 1X to scale humanoid robotics from development to production. This team ensures manufacturing sites, labs, warehouses, and workplaces are safe, reliable, and operationally excellent environments. As 1X scales, Facilities is critical for operational readiness, infrastructure scalability, and execution velocity, removing physical and operational bottlenecks and supporting manufacturing growth.
