Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing multiple programs to include collaborating with leadership, program leadership and other functions.
  • Experience in briefing on the security status of programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the security discipline, including managing complex projects and process improvements.
  • Ability to influence and present solutions/approaches.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other government regulations (e.g. Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) as well as customer specific policies and directives.
  • Self-starter capable of independently managing tasks.
  • Commitment to security and delivering the highest value to customers.
  • Strong background utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.
  • Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements of ICD 705 to meet contractual needs, experience with SCIF Buildouts from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to manage Sensitive Compartmented Information programs.
  • Experience setting a standard for establishing the creation of initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Current Industrial Security Certification
  • FSO, CPSO or CSSO training/certificate(s).
  • Experience training security personnel on developing and implementing security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to capitalize on opportunities
  • Member of Security Organizations/affiliations (e.g. NCMS)

Responsibilities

  • Provide security oversight and management for multiple contracts, ensuring proper implementation of the industrial security program and full compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of security professionals.
  • Coordinate with ARS/ASRC Federal personnel and government officials at all levels to ensure compliance with NISPOM, Contract Security documents and Program Classification Guides.
  • Exercise sound judgement in making critical security decisions for high-value contracts and implement procedures to prevent unauthorized access to facilities or information.
  • Apply effective risk-mitigation strategies to address complex security challenges.
  • Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate.
  • Deliver day-to-day oversight and direction to security personnel regarding program operations, personnel clearance processing, program reviews, document control and security audits.
  • Oversee investigations and reporting related to security violations or infractions, including receipt/dispatch/destruction logs, mail logs and visit certifications.
  • Provide expertise across personnel security, physical/industrial security, computer security, investigations and operations.
  • Prepare and disseminate security requirements, guidance, and procedures.
  • Guide security personnel on maintaining accurate and compliant personnel and program records and interpreting policies related to processing, dissemination and control of classified material.
  • Collaborate closely with program managers, functions and management to ensure understanding of program operations.
  • Develop Security Volumes for Request for Proposals.
