Requirements

Proven experience in security leadership within a hotel, corporate, or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
Effective leadership and team development skills with an emphasis on training and motivation.
Excellent observational skills, problem-solving abilities, and report writing proficiency.
Ability to work collaboratively with all hotel departments to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

Interview, hire, train, and manage a team of security officers to uphold safety and order across the property.
Create and manage schedules, balancing hotel operational needs with productivity and coverage goals.
Conduct regular property walkthroughs and surveillance to identify and mitigate potential security threats or suspicious activity.
Lead the hotel’s safety committee, enforce OSHA compliance, and oversee all safety protocols.
Develop and implement safety incentive programs and ongoing training initiatives to promote a culture of safety.
Investigate incidents such as accidents, thefts, and property loss, preparing detailed reports and ensuring proper follow-up.
Review incoming security-related correspondence and disseminate critical information to relevant staff members.
Coordinate routine safety inspections and collaborate with security personnel to maintain high safety standards.
