About The Position
The Director of Security at Montage International is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Safety and Security Department, ensuring the achievement of annual goals and objectives. Requirements
- 3-5 years of safety & security leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
- Knowledge of basic law enforcement
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers
- Prior supervisor or management experience within security operations
- Experience in managing of Work Comp and General Liability claims
- Security Guard Card certified
- Advanced computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office programs

- Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a best in class safety and security program that thrives off of strategic leadership direction.
- Partner closely and collaborate with cross functional leaders and daily operational teams, as well as work closely with Risk Management.
- Create and implement organizational policies and procedures that focus on mitigating risk to associates, guests and assets.
- Direct, lead and resolve investigations of accidents, theft, property loss and other activities of relevant nature.
- Champion Safety Committee efforts and meetings.
- Execute and manage hotel wide safety training to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage and continually elevate Injury & Illness Prevention Safety Program.
