About The Position

Lyv is building a platform that enables wellness providers to offer clinical services they currently can’t provide on their own, including blood testing, prescriptions, and peptides, all supported by a clinical team. Founded by Harvard Business School MBAs with prior experience as founders in technology and clinical operations, Lyv is backed by top venture capital firms and is building at a rapid pace. This is a chance to join at the ground floor, work directly with the founders, and accelerate your career by being part of a fast-growing startup. We’re looking for a Director of Sales to build and scale our sales function. You’ll be one of our first five employees and will work directly with the founders to take what’s working today and turn it into a repeatable, scalable sales engine. We already have early traction and a founder-led sales motion that’s working. Now we need someone who can systematize it, build a team around it, and push it to the next level. This is a role for a builder—not someone who just wants to manage an existing team, but someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and build out the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales who wants to grow quickly.

Requirements

  • Experienced in SMB SaaS sales — you’ve sold software to small and medium-sized businesses
  • A builder — you’ve helped stand up or scale a sales function before (hiring, process, playbooks)
  • A leader — you have experience building a team and leading them successful
  • Comfortable in ambiguity — you can operate without everything fully defined
  • Hands-on — you’re excited to both sell and lead
  • Data-driven but scrappy — you use metrics, but you’re not afraid to test and learn quickly
  • Strong communicator — you can connect with customers and build trust quickly

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale the end-to-end sales function
  • Work directly with the founders to refine and evolve the sales playbook
  • Sell in the early days—closing deals and staying close to customers
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team quickly but sustainably
  • Develop and implement sales processes, tooling, and metrics
  • Identify what’s working (and what’s not), and continuously iterate on the motion
  • Help shape pricing and positioning based on market feedback
