Remington Hospitality•Nashville, TN
•$75,000 - $80,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Director of Sales leads all sales efforts for Salt Ranch Nashville, a boutique lifestyle hotel with approximately 48 guestrooms. As the sole sales professional onsite and an individual contributor without direct reports or administrative support, this role generates room revenue, builds local business partnerships, manages group and social event inquiries, negotiates contracts, and oversees events from prospecting through execution. The position works closely with the General Manager, hotel operations, and the onsite restaurant and bar team to grow occupancy, revenue, and the property's presence in the Nashville market. The role combines strategic sales planning with hands-on daily execution. Sales activities include developing weekday room demand, building community and business relationships, managing the sales pipeline and reporting, and selling group, social, and boutique corporate events. Events may include hotel or restaurant buyouts, private functions, corporate gatherings, and community celebrations in approximately 500 square feet of non-traditional event space and adjacent public areas. The Director of Sales provides onsite event oversight, including coordinating setup and vendors, supporting event execution, resolving guest issues, and ensuring operational alignment. This is an onsite, salaried, permanent, full-time position. The schedule is flexible rather than a traditional Monday-Friday schedule; evening and weekend event attendance is a regular expectation. Hours vary with the event calendar, group activity, and occupancy needs, generally averaging approximately 40 hours per week. Travel is less than 10% for client engagement, community partnerships, and market sales efforts. The position reports to the General Manager and VP of Sales.
