About The Position

The Director of Sales will be accountable for leading the Estyle sales strategy including driving sales, brand market share, and growth opportunities for national & independent accounts including but not limited to Walgreens, CVS, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Jinny, and Ultra Distributors. Ensuring sustainability of the company’s overall growth ambitions, the Director of Sales will work closely with the Esytle Sales leadership team on developing sales strategies and growth initiatives to achieve and exceed company sales goals. This position will also be responsible for managing national & independent accounts in crafting, maintaining, and achieving sales forecasts. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with consumer products in both Retail and Wholesale sales organizations. Additionally, this candidate needs to be driven and strategic and have a strong ability to work cross-functionally in an entrepreneurial and hands-on environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or other relevant field
  • At least 5 – 10 years’ experience in a sales role with progressive responsibility
  • Proven experience with consumer products in both Retail and Wholesale sales organizations.
  • Driven and strategic
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally in an entrepreneurial and hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a vision and a voice for Estye national & independent accounts
  • Align and drive the national & independent sales business plans framework and its client-specific strategies through quarterly, annual and long-range planning cycles across all accounts and regions.
  • Serve as a “partner” with Account Leaders to develop go-to-market strategies, forecasts and tactics for each business.
  • Actively participate in annual, quarterly and weekly sales meetings to develop and maintain alignment with overall sales strategy.
  • Anticipate challenges and prepare contingency plans to ensure sustainable growth despite potential setbacks.
  • Serve as the voice of the Estyle customer to interface with creative, marketing, and innovation.
  • Identify sales trends and patterns; work cross-functionally to ensure S’well is designing and buying into products that will sell well in each market.
  • Work closely with the business to further develop metrics, KPIs, analytics and dashboards to provide performance measurement and drive business insight.
  • Manage Trade fuel budgets to insure the proper return on investment is realized for Estyle
  • Develop workflows to improve sales velocity and maximize productivity
  • Analyze the impact of current sales tools, identify areas of improvement and work with inventory planning team on broad-scale process improvement initiatives (eg. revenue realization, forecast reconciliations).
  • Partner with sales and inventory planning teams to ensure inventory forecasts dovetail with sales expectations.
  • Develop and implement tools for tracking opportunities with the sales team to ensure consistent follow-through (from lead generation to account development and retention).
  • Administer, manage, and report on revenue forecasting and automation/forecasting tools.
