About The Position

The Cycle is the first functional beverage brand built around women’s cycles, offering four phase-specific RTD SKUs. Named Beverage Forum 2026 Most Innovative Beverage Brand, the company is scaling across natural and conventional retail. The brand aims to establish women's cycles as a significant category in functional beverages, challenging the mainstream beverage industry's neglect of this area.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in CPG sales and account management.
  • Experience taking a brand through a retailer review and growing an account year over year.
  • Fluent in retail data: velocity, $/store/week, ACV, sell-through, forecasting.
  • Strong instincts on pricing, trade spend, free fills, and promo planning at premium price points.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting buyer emails and broker briefs.
  • Self-directed and able to build a playbook rather than wait for one.
  • Organized and accountable for managing pipeline, forecasts, and reporting cadence.
  • Hungry and see every retailer call as an opportunity to expand the category.
  • Belief in and care for women's health as a category.

Nice To Haves

  • Beverage crossover experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the retailer pipeline: prospect, pitch, close, and manage accounts across natural chains and select conventional retailers.
  • Manage broker and distributor relationships, setting targets, running cadence, and holding them accountable.
  • Lead retailer review cycles end-to-end, including preparation, pitching, follow-up, and closing. Own velocity analysis and retailer reporting, translating syndicated data into actionable insights.
  • Set and enforce placement policy, free-fill rules, and trade spend guardrails.
  • Build sales infrastructure, including pitch decks, one-pagers, deal sheets, broker briefs, and review materials.
  • Coordinate with Operations on the demo program, sampling, and field activation.
  • Represent The Cycle at trade shows.
