About The Position

As Director of Sales at Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort, you lead revenue generation strategies for a premier waterfront golf destination on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. You oversee all sales initiatives across golf outings, corporate events, weddings, and hospitality experiences, driving both group and individual bookings. You are responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and tourism partners, and positioning the resort as a top-tier destination for both leisure and business events. This includes managing the sales pipeline, forecasting revenue, and identifying new market opportunities to maximize occupancy and event utilization. In this role, you collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and hospitality teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences from inquiry through execution. You also lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and alignment with brand standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Leadership, Hospitality, Catering, or Events
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience leading sales teams in a weddings, resort, or luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership presence with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales analytics
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
