About The Position

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Sales director responsibilities include achieving revenue and margin goals through account acquisition, penetration, and retention. Decision making that results in profitable sales while maintaining the best interest of the company and the customer. Leadership, including training and development, of the Territory Sales Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience quickly learning new products and applications.
  • Previous experience in strong presentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • At least 3 years of distribution management/sales.
  • Proven track record in pursuing and closing new sales opportunities.
  • Tactical and strategic thinker.
  • Proficient in networking, prospecting, and building relationships.
  • Capable of building strong relationships with people across organizations.
  • Proven analytical skills including budgeting, margin management, expense management, and compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and attain annual sales revenue and margin goals for the territory sales team.
  • Lead and manage sales managers in the development of leadership skills and management competencies.
  • Execute exclusive brands sales strategy to achieve higher levels of profitability and customer loyalty.
  • Know and understand the company’s strategic goals and ensure sales team is contributing to the success of these goals.
  • Focus on building sales representative accountability with respect to sales growth, account receivables, operational efficiency and effectiveness and time management.
  • Perpetuate a culture of learning within the sales organization, with all team members participating in growth and training opportunities.
