Excellent decision-making skills are essential, along with clear, accurate, and timely communication, and the ability to set and manage priorities. This role also involves monitoring expenditures weekly to ensure compliance with the department's budgeted monthly amounts and maintaining good interpersonal/communication skills with all employees and visitors. Planning and hosting special sales events, maintaining an up-to-date inquiry/lead database, and reviewing/updating the quarterly action plan are also key responsibilities. The Director of Sales is responsible for achieving all occupancy goals, visiting community areas daily to ensure they are clean, safe, and project the appropriate atmosphere, and reporting findings to the executive director. Additionally, this role handles all closings, processes appropriate move-in paperwork, and disperses it to the appropriate departments.
