About The Position

The Westin St. Louis is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) to lead hotel sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and increase market share. This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality sales leader to help guide a hotel through its next phase of growth, build on recent performance improvements, and strengthen its competitive position in the downtown St. Louis market. Located directly across from Busch Stadium, The Westin St. Louis offers 263 guest rooms, spacious accommodations, and 20,874 square feet of meeting and event space, creating opportunities to attract corporate groups, meetings and conventions, and leisure travelers. The property has made meaningful progress in its operational turnaround, with improving guest satisfaction scores and positive momentum in both group and transient business. As Director of Sales and Marketing, you will lead the hotel's commercial sales strategy, with a primary focus on group sales, business development, account management, and market share growth. You will work closely with the Director of Revenue Management (DORM) and hotel leadership to identify revenue opportunities, strengthen business relationships, improve sales performance, and capitalize on growing demand. The role may also include responsibility for transient sales strategy and business development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hotel sales leader who thrives in a changing environment, understands how to navigate complex ownership expectations, and can translate market opportunities into measurable results. You will lead and develop the sales team, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and build relationships with key corporate accounts, meeting planners, third-party partners, and industry contacts. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a well-positioned downtown hotel with strong meeting space, an experienced sales team, and an improving business outlook. If you are passionate about hotel sales, revenue growth, team development, and building long-term commercial success, we invite you to apply.
