Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hotel sales and marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a hospitality environment
  • Experience with Marriott/Sheraton brand systems (CI/TY, MARSHA, or similar) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and catering/event sales
  • Proficiency in revenue management principles and hotel performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive hotel revenue and occupancy
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and group/event clients
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including social media, email campaigns, and online reputation management
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management decisions
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community networking functions
  • Coordinate with Marriott/Sheraton brand teams to ensure alignment with corporate marketing programs
