About The Position

The NH Collection NYC is seeking a dynamic Director of Revenue to lead our hotel’s revenue strategy and drive optimal performance across all channels and segments. In this strategic leadership role, you’ll oversee pricing, forecasting, inventory management, and distribution to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and total hotel profitability. This leader must look beyond traditional yield management—combining sophisticated pricing, segmentation, channel and premium room strategies with strong market intelligence and the confidence to articulate, defend and evolve strategy as conditions change. Equally important is an adaptable, solutions-oriented mindset: someone comfortable learning new systems, connecting data across platforms, identifying gaps and building effective processes rather than waiting for a perfect infrastructure. Working in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Minor’s global teams, we need a curious, decisive and highly analytical commercial leader who can translate complex information into clear action, challenge assumptions when the data supports it, and bring both discipline and creativity to driving market share, forecast accuracy and long-term profitability.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive hotel revenue management experience is required, with prior leadership responsibility in NYC luxury, lifestyle, or upper-upscale hotels strongly preferred.
• Experience with RMS, PMS, CRS (SynXis, Duetto) and reporting systems is required.
• In-market experience is highly preferred.
• Proven success leading high‑performing revenue teams.
• Expertise in pricing optimization, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively within a global brand framework while identifying opportunities, challenging convention, and moving quickly from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of commercial and revenue strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability for the property.
• Collaborate closely with property-level teams, including the general manager, sales, marketing, operations and finance, to align commercial strategies with the hotel's overall business objectives.
• Serve as a confident strategic voice within the hotel’s commercial leadership team, articulating, defending, and evolving revenue strategy based on data, market intelligence, and changing demand conditions.
• Apply a luxury/lifestyle revenue mindset across room-category strategy, premium room positioning, channel discipline, compression, length-of-stay strategy, and overall rate and value perception.
• Own forecast accuracy and clearly communicate risks, opportunities, and changes in demand assumptions to hotel leadership, ownership, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), market trends, and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize strategies.
• Utilize demand forecasting, booking trends, and historical data to optimize pricing, inventory allocation, and distribution channels for the property.
• Oversee the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives that complement revenue management goals and enhance the hotel's market position.
• Establish and maintain relationships with distribution partners, online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and other key channels to maximize the property’s visibility and revenue potential.
• Develop strategies for group bookings, corporate accounts, and other key revenue-generating contracts in collaboration with the property team.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging best practices in revenue management and commercial strategy to continuously refine strategies and drive performance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the property’s commercial team, ensuring adherence to best practices and alignment with commercial objectives.
