About The Position

Manages the operational, financial, personnel activities, and clinical aspects of Respiratory Care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program
• Associate in respiratory care or health science
• 2 years respiratory care experience
• 2 years managerial experience
• RCP or equivalent State licensure
• RRT
• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP

• Bachelor's in Health Care Management

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets
• Directs daily operations of assigned departments
• Directs staff
• Achieves ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies
• Selects personnel for hire and promotion
• Takes appropriate actions regarding counseling, disciplinary actions, demotion and termination
• Develops and implements quality assurance programs for department
