Requirements

  • Current and active New Jersey RN license
  • Possess Assisted Living certification or eligible to complete and pass next available course
  • Current Department of Health-approved Community trainer/instructor course for medication administration, or to be completed within 6 months of hire
  • 4+ years of nursing experience required

Responsibilities

  • Organize, direct, plan, and evaluate quality of personal care services in assisted living setting
  • Oversee medication management and CMA delegation in compliance with state guidelines
  • Coordinate resident care needs, including assessments, service plans, and care team communication
  • Lead hiring, scheduling, and development of Assisted Living staff in partnership with leadership
  • Investigate and review resident and staff incident reports implement timely corrective actions to support quality care
  • Promote and maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory of supplies, equipment, and medications
  • Maintain compliance of applicable state laws and regulations
  • Promote collaboration, communication, and teamwork across departments
