Requirements

  • Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required as this job entails direct care of adults and children receiving services.
  • Employees are required to communicate, both orally and in writing, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services. This requirement includes the ability to effectively communicate in English including medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service discipline or a business-related field preferred
  • At least two years of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Helps create and maintain a positive, learning, supportive environment for all employees and individuals.
  • Assists frontline supervisors with ensuring implementation and documentation of all training, support and behavior programs as required by the individual's plan and regulatory agencies.
  • Assists frontline supervisors with ensuring employee compliance of policies and procedures through monitoring and training.
  • Provides constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring.
  • Implements and monitors budgets at the direction of the Area Director by providing accurate fiscal information and documentation of revenue and expenses.
  • Assists in recruitment, orientation, supervision, monitoring, training, and evaluation of direct reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
