About The Position

Silverado Bellevue, a memory care innovator ranked in the top 10 nationwide by Fortune Magazine Best Workplaces in Aging Services, is hiring a Director of Resident and Family Services (MSW). This role is for a compassionate and knowledgeable leader who supports residents and families through the emotional and psychosocial aspects of aging and dementia. The ideal candidate is a social worker with a heart for service and a deep understanding of memory care, who thrives in emotionally complex situations, advocates for residents and families, and collaborates across departments to enhance quality of life.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work required
Minimum 1 year of experience working with older adults
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and outreach needs

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting individuals with memory impairment and their families highly desirable
Professional or volunteer experience with memory impairment organizations helpful
Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets
May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs

Responsibilities

Support residents and families in understanding and coping with the psychosocial challenges of aging and dementia
Promote the community to civic and memory impairment-related groups, reflecting Silverado’s mission and quality of care
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations of team members under your supervision
Maintain continuing education through academic studies, seminars, and workshops
Participate in in-services, staff meetings, and case conferences
Perform other related duties as assigned
