Director of Rehab (DOR) – Senior Living Community – Redwood City, CA (PT, PTA, OT, or COTA)
About The Position
Relient Health is seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead a Senior Living Community in Redwood City, CA. This is a full-time, direct-hire leadership opportunity for a seasoned therapy professional with proven experience in managing rehabilitation operations in a Senior Living Community setting. The role involves leading PT, OT, and SLP services, ensuring clinical excellence, efficient operations, and a supportive environment for patients and staff. This position is specifically for licensed therapy professionals who already have experience as a Director of Rehab in a Senior Living Community setting and is not for clinicians looking to transition into their first management role.
Requirements
- Active PT, PTA, OT, or COTA license in CA
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a DOR in a Senior Living Community setting or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation, compliance, and billing standards
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership to the rehab department and therapy staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, documentation, and productivity goals
- Mentor and evaluate team members to maximize performance
- Collaborate with nursing, administration, and corporate teams on outcomes and goals
