About The Position

Shannondale of Knoxville Assisted Living in Knoxville, TN, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Rehab to lead their therapy team. Shannondale of Knoxville is an Assisted Living community located in a serene, wooded area of West Knoxville, offering a peaceful environment. Requirements

• Associate (PTA or COTA) or a minimum of a Bachelor (PT or OT) of Science degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program.
• Meets all certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
• Active state license.
• Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.
• Two years clinical experience preferred, with experience in geriatric care.
• Management experience in the skilled setting, preferred.
• Comprehensive leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the RM, RVP, and Operations Team to ensure the efficient operation of the facility rehab department.
• Serves as the liaison between Functional Pathways, the facility, and rehab staff.
• Plays a crucial role in coordinating and integrating care.
• Supervises rehab staff.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.
