About The Position

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) who is licensed as either a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on clinical leader who enjoys mentoring teams, driving quality outcomes, and helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals. As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will oversee the daily operations of the therapy department while working closely with facility leadership to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

Requirements

• Active Maryland COTA or PTA license required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care and leading high-performing teams

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation preferred
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary therapy teams
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and therapy service delivery
• Monitor department productivity, clinical quality, and documentation compliance
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, case management, and facility leadership
• Mentor therapists and foster a positive, team-oriented culture
• Help drive strong clinical outcomes and operational success
