About The Position

Cornerstone Rehab is a nationwide rehabilitation company specializing in staffing for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology in skilled nursing homes. Its care-driven approach combines ethical and regulatory rehabilitation management strategies with employee screening and training, with a focus on positively impacting patient outcomes. The Director of Rehabilitation leads the administration, scheduling, clinical planning, development, and operations of the therapy department and its programs. The role develops rehabilitation programs with operational leadership and medical staff, establishes program guidelines, oversees rehabilitation functions, develops staffing and budget policies and procedures, and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations governing therapy services.

Requirements

Hold a valid state license and credentials as a PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of CMI, Medicare regulations, PPS, and HMO management and utilization.
Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of management experience in SNF/LTC settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the administration, scheduling, clinical planning, development, and operations of the therapy department and all therapy programs.
Develop and implement rehabilitation programs in collaboration with the operational leadership team and medical staff.
Set and implement guidelines for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy programs.
Direct, plan, and operate rehabilitation functions.
Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding staffing and budget.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations governing therapy services.
