About The Position

Powerback is hiring a Director of Rehabilitation to lead rehabilitation services at a facility. The Director oversees all rehab services, provides direct patient care, and ensures high standards of service. The role also supports, develops, and mentors a team of clinicians, therapists, and assistants in designing, implementing, and executing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ abilities. Powerback will consider candidates who are PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP for this clinical role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation discipline—Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems appropriately.
• Thorough knowledge of all state practice acts.
• Ability to interact positively with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and personnel, and the general public.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff.

Responsibilities
