About The Position

Mid South is hiring an experienced Director of Rehab on our Rehab Therapy TEAM at a facility in Indianola, Mississippi. The settings this of this facility are: acute care inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed. The position is full-time. Requirements

• Current unrestricted professional license to practice.
• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Passing score on National Board Examination in Speech Language Pathology.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship year with nine (9) months of professional experience under supervision while employed as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• DOR experience (for SLP, OT, COTA, PT, or PTA)

Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as part of the Rehab Therapy TEAM.
• Manage operations in acute care inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed settings.
• Utilize evidence-based practice guidelines to treat patients.
• Assess and improve treatment interventions using clinical outcomes.
• Participate in a national outcome database for benchmarks and outcome reports.
• Analyze and improve patient progress.
