About The Position

The Director of Recruitment, in coordination with the Senior Vice President of Provider Relations and SVP of HR Operations, provides support and expertise in the execution of the strategy of the overall Recruitment function. This role shares responsibility for driving a cohesive and high-performing recruitment function aligned with the company’s growth objectives. The Director is responsible for supporting and executing the strategic direction of system-wide recruitment initiatives, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent to support continued expansion. This position directly oversees non-clinical recruiting team members while partnering closely with clinical recruiting resources to advance talent acquisition strategies and achieve measurable results. This position is located at our corporate office in Southfield, MI and has a hybrid schedule of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in office and Wednesday/Friday remote.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and reporting capabilities
  • Applicant Tracking Software experience
  • Data analysis skills / Database management skills
  • Workflow design skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exhibit project management and organizational skills
  • Make recommendations and influence decision makers
  • Possesses excellent business acumen
  • Ability to function in a fast paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines
  • Maintain vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of employment law, government regulations, professional standards and practices related to EEO/AAP; legalities and ethics of recruiting
  • Work experience in developing and managing relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or other educational equivalency
  • 7-10 years’ experience in leadership and
  • 5-7 years supervisory experience of leading teams
  • 5-7 years’ experience overall responsibility for project planning & budgeting

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site facility experience or knowledge of management of a network of facilities in a retail like environment a major plus but not required
  • Healthcare or dental industry a plus but not required
  • Active participation in professional organizations a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist and advise senior leadership and HR leaders on all significant staffing, sourcing, and recruiting initiatives (end to end recruiting).
  • Through analysis, provides status on recruiting objectives, workflow targets and recommended plans to meet or exceed outcomes.
  • Oversee external advertising, job posting budget, applicant tracking system, employee referral programs, and any selection programs (conferences, hosted events etc.)
  • Develop and monitor annual Recruiting spending and budget
  • Manages and leads the non-clinical Recruiting Team
  • Select, appoint, and manage third party vendors; develop vendor performance metrics and ensure adequate vendor performance while limiting company expenses
  • Manages H1B and immigration and any professional services
  • Influence organizational excellence through championing and implementing effective sourcing and selection processes
  • Serves as an internal consultant and connector for leadership and fosters the Company’s internal referral program.
  • Serves as a visible and vocal advocate for the company’s culture and mission, representing the organization with consistency and credibility both internally and externally.
