Requirements

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs., and push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the tennis industry as a full-time instructor preferred
  • Experience in a resort, country club, or luxury tennis environment is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain an organized workspace
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, medium-volume setting
  • Willingness to learn and assist with group programming, including adult cardio tennis/pickleball, junior clinics, and advanced player clinics
  • Ability to work individually with players of all levels, from beginner to advanced
  • Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5 required; 5.0 preferred
  • Padle Ball knowledge is desired
  • The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need
  • Holidays and weekends availability is required

Responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct tennis and pickleball lessons, clinics, and group programming
  • Support pickleball growth
  • Manage booking systems, equipment needs, racquet stringing, and maintenance recommendations
  • Provide a welcoming, high-level guest experience including facility orientation, program explanation, equipment and towel service, and accurate entry of guest information into the reservation system
  • Maintain the tennis office and facilities, including court setup and breakdown, cleaning, organizing of guest areas, and keeping supplies fully stocked, clean and well maintained
  • Answer phones, teams messages and manage reservations to Four Seasons standards, while professionally assisting guests with resort and local information
  • Maintain strong knowledge of programs and court availability, anticipate guest needs, recognize returning guests, and provide professional and personalized service
  • Ensure condition of maintenance of courts are met, working closely with Recreation and Engineering leaders to ensure needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner
  • Manage ordering of supplies and equipment for racquet sports including working with third party contractors to ensure monthly maintenance is completed
  • Ability to drive business and generate revenues for racquet sport operations including creating packages for members, residents and guests as well as groups
  • During off-peak months, flexibility will be required to support cross-training in other areas of the division including but not limited to pool and recreation operations to support during "crunch" or peak times
