Additionally, the position requires coordination of specification and start meetings, precontracting activities, and the maintenance of purchasing information on SharePoint. The role emphasizes promoting best practices to limit legal and financial exposure, migrating purchasing processes, and ensuring departmental efficiency and cost control. The Director will also supervise lot simulations, reserve reviews, track commodity pricing, manage material pricing opportunities, and process problem invoices.
