Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Asset Management, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for the general management and oversight of all properties assigned to the portfolio. The candidate must be a dynamic professional with a proven history of results, including asset preservation, budget performance, industry compliance and effective communication and leadership skills. Portfolio assignments vary and may include various types of housing to include but not limited to HUD Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD 202, HUD Public Housing and Market Rate. Portfolio Manager will provide management, direction, and leadership to direct reports and ensure that the property is maintained and operated in accordance with the HACM objectives and all regulatory requirements. Tracking project financials and schedules are required to report status regularly. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the financial management, physical conditions, compliance, resident/occupancy issues, and community/resident relations.
